This Cheesy Chicken Alfredo Bake is made with ANY kind of pasta and a 15-minute Alfredo sauce with chicken! Use leftover chicken for an easy shortcut and top it with breadcrumbs.

Baked Chicken Alfredo is pure comfort food! Penne pasta in a rich and creamy sauce mixed with delicious chicken breast, then with cheese, then baked perfectly. These dishes were delicious and delicious, perfect to feed the hungry crowd.

Chicken casseroles are classic and better cream comfort foods, in my opinion! Baked Alfredo this easy cheap chicken is super warm, packed with taste, rich and soft. It was made with a handful of simple ingredients but gave pleasure, perfect for a busy night.

  • 2 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • Salt Garlic Powder
  • Onion Powder
  • Black pepper
  • Dried parsley
  • Cheese sauce
  • Pasta
  • Olive Oil
  • Classic Alfredo Sauce
  • Flour | Milk
  • Mozzarella cheese

Directions

1First thing you’re going to do is season two boneless skinless chicken breasts and I’m seasoning the chicken breast with salt garlic powder onion powder black pepper and dried parsley. You want to make sure to season both sides of the chicken breast what I like about this dish is that it’s just warm and gooey and comforting you have the pasta the cheese sauce is made with three cheese sand you have the chicken breast and it’s so so good.

2The next step is to cook the chicken and we’re going to cook it in olive oil over medium heat and let it brown on both sides you want it to cook all the way through.

3The next step is to cook the pasta and to the pot, I’ve added water with salt then I’m going to add the pasta and you want to undercook the pasta just so slightly because it will continue to cook in the oven and you don’t want soft gummy pasta so this is important.

4Once the chicken breast is finished cooking you want to let it rest for a few minutes just so it retains some of that juice because no one likes dry chicken breasts once it’s rested for a few minutes cut it into thin strips.

5Next, we’re going to get started on the sauce to a pan over medium heat I’m adding butter and once the butter has melted I am going to add garlic. I’m going to let this garlic cook for about 30 seconds to a minute you do not want it to burn.

6Now the classic alfredo sauce will be just cream butter and cheese but since I’m baking this I want it to stick to the noodles a little bit more so I’m going to start by making a roll which is a combination of butter and flour to that I am going to add milk and as you can see I have a whisk clip just to make sure that the flour and bottom mix well together and I’m doing the same as I add the milk just to ensure that we get a nice smooth sauce and I’m using a combination of milk and the heavy cream so it’s still gonna have that richness that the alfredo sauce typically does.

7I allow this to cook on low heat for a few minutes just until it’s thickened before adding grated parmesan cheese salt and black pepper I’m just going to stir this together and just cook it for a few more minutes just until the cheese begins to melt then remove it from the heat.

8Now I’m going to add the sauce to the pasta that we cooked earlier and just mix it all together now you can absolutely go ahead at this point and just eat it like this but we’re going to kick it up a notch and we’re going to add more cheese the chicken and then stick this into the oven.

9Now that I’ve added the chicken I’m gonna add shredded mozzarella cheese we’re going to give this a good stir and then I’m going to place this into a baking pan that has been lightly buttered.

10Now I’m going to place half of the mixture into a 13 by 9 baking dish so on top of this layer.

11I’m going to place provolone cheese and you just want enough to cover the entire pasta so it’s going to be a layer of cheese in the middle on top of that I’m going to add the remaining pasta.

12Next, I’m going to use my spoon to just kind of spread it out evenly and then top that with even more mozzarella cheese and you want to make sure to cover the entire top and to just spread it out into a nice even layer.

13I’m going to top it with dried parsley and then place it into the oven and let it bake for about 25 minutes until all that cheese is melted and it’s nice and gooey and absolutely divine.
